I used to make this banana ice cream in the 70′s with bananas from the trees here…plus papayas and even had a cruise ship chef make it once on the way to new zealand when i found he had a champion.
There was a little yellow wood frame house on kauai that had a banana plantation in the 70′s and they served this by the road outside their house The tourists would flock there from every country to buy it.
Too good tasting to be true! If you are really decadent you can add a little fresh vanilla bean
