Ok so continuing on from last nights post….
Some reasons I follow a Low Fat Raw Vegan Lifestyle
These reasons could also be expanded upon a lot but bed is calling…
- Compassion -Grains are an animal rights crime, deforestation for grain crops wipes out animals habitats & kills millions in the process. No animal suffers for my meal.
- Health -430 thousand Americans died of heart attacks last year due to cooked food animal product consumption. I have less painful or painless very light periods . My digestion & bowel movements are so regular & perfect!
- Physiology – Fruits & greens meet my nutritional needs more closely then ANY other food on the planet
- Taste - Raw food doesn’t need salt or condiments, it has more flavour then cooked food once our tastebuds are clean & ready to receive
- Nature condones it – Nature produces beautyfull colourful wholefood designed to catch our attention & tempt us with sweetness, if we eat her food will get rewarded with vibrant health & well being. No destruction results from picking fruit.
- Appearance – I look better than I ever have before! Clear skin, white teeth & eyes, thicker hair, stronger nails, slimmer
- Physical performance - More energy & stamina all round – food quality impacts directly on our physical & emotional bodies, emotionally I’m more stable & in control of my state than ever
- Money Saver – I save money on the following – Doctors bills, scripts, restaurant outings, packaged foods, vitamins, diet gimics.. so much!
- Stronger friendships – I have forged lifelong relationships that are built on raw truth & integrity
- Spiritual advancement- To raise my vibration, fruits & greens are the highest vibrating foods on the Earth which have already been cooked by the sun once, why cook them again?!?! Expect the most clarity u have ever had eating this way
- Convenience - I don’t clean anymore dirty dishes smeared with animal grease or cooked food remanents
- Environmental – More than half the U.S. grain and nearly 40 percent of world grain is being fed to livestock, imagine how much land has to be cleared to produce these quantities? Also top soil is destroyed. Using fire is responsible for so many environmental crimes…putting a flame to our food puts a flame to our Planet!!
Some extra reasons to go Vegan!
- It takes up to 100,000 litres of water to produce 1kg beef
- Meat production requires huge amounts of land, energy and water – which leads to habitat loss, soil erosion, water depletion, and pollution from pesticides and animal waste.
- A typical pig factory farm generates a quantity of raw waste equal to that of a city of 12,000 people.
- 450 million chickens are killed every year in Australia
- If they continue to clear American forests to raise cattle at the present rate, in 50 years there will be none left
- Pressure on land due to meat farming leads to soil erosion 6billion tons/year in the USA
- The destruction of the rainforest by cattle farmers is destroying the lungs of the planet & reducing the worlds capacity to replenish our oxygen supply
- Each year 15,000,000,000 land animals are slaughtered for food & an unknown but much larger number of sea creatures (including 1000′s of dolphins caught accidentally)
- Meat is full of traces of antibiotics, hormones, toxins produced by stress & pesticide residues that become concentrated from all the crops they have eaten

Dear Freelee,
Contratulations for everything you do, and for the person you are. I have been following you in 30BaDay and exploring what the possibilities & options are for me to move to 100% raw vegan.
I couldn’t more agree on the 11 reasons you shared here. I could share more if you are interested. For instance you can also analyze the ecological foot print
I just have one specific question: my work makes me travel everywhere around the globe to give conferences and spiritual retreats, and to build R&D programs on collective intelligence, wisdom and consciousness. I meet many people and cultures, and find myself seating in very different food contexts.
So far it has never been an issue to keep it vegetarian, almost vegan.
My question is: would you have advice & experience to share on keeping it raw in those varied contexts, including those where finding one organic fruit is a challenge?
Thanks again, and much love to you!

wow thank you so much for your beautiful comment Jean-Francois! I just found it.
There is plenty of advice to succeeding in any climate or situation on 30BaD. Have you posted on there yet?
hi there
i just started this lifestyle yesterday and am very excited about it. You are an amazing role model and i hope to accomplish many things such as yourself. I do have a few questions though..
Can I sill eat whenever i want? if i want a couple bananas at 8 or 9 at night, can i have them or should i stick to having just breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
