Damn good Australian grown Durian!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what we found today?? A beautiful little Durian under a 30 year old Durian tree on the outskirts of Kakadu National Park! My first ever Australian tree-ripened Durian and it was just soooo lush! Creamy, sweet and juicy all at once! Gosh there are some amazing fruits out there and the best thing of all they are guilt-free. Harley made a youtube video with it, ill put the link as soon as he gets it up. Im now busy manifesting the next one….

Did a 78km ride today, unfortunately got a little pink, its very easy when your on a bike in hot weather as a breeze is generated and before you know it, you pull up pink! We helped out at an amazing biodynamic farm today, packing mangoes and picking some snake beans, these snake beans were quite incredible really soft, juicy and sweet, couldn’t get enough!

The family who owns the farm is the nicest people ever, the lady is Sri lankin and the man Auzzie and they have the 4 most delightful beautiful girls with this amazing caramel skin and big clear brown eyes….. :( as I look down at my pink skin! The family is almost raw and wanted a consultation from us on how to get there, really enjoyed that.

We may be staying with them for a few weeks and helping out, i feel such a sense of contribution as the man is really overworked and trying to keep his head above water. We will do everything we can to assist him.

Food:
9am: 1/2 large melon
1pm: 1/2 large melon
7pm: 8mangoes & 1/2 bunch celery
830pm: 1/2 small durian! oh yeah :yahh:

Exercise:

Was scheduled to do weights but didn’t, that’s only twice this week which is still fine but i won’t be making a habit of it78kms on bike.

Mango heaven….

Run was called off because of rain but made up for it this morning…

Exercise:

- 6.3km jog, almost got bitten by 2 viscious dogs, one was a pitbull…I was jogging along and heard these dogs going mad as I approached, I was almost past the house when I heard them running towards me UNDER the just-for-show fence! They ran up and were growling and sooo threatening, I told myself to keep my calm, avoided eye contact and walked slowly as they slobbered around my ankles growling, it worked! Eventually i got away! Pheww it was close, im thinking of ringing the council because its just not on to have dangerous dogs like that on the loose…

* 30-40mins of weights – dips, shoulder presses, bench press, bicep curls, pushups, lunges, deadlifts, seated rows…plus some 15mins of Aerobics Oz Style in the middle.

Food: Very simple, no prep, no overthinking just keeping it simple.

10.30- 7 mangoes & 3 stalks of celery

1pm – 5 bananas & 3 stalks of celery

6.30pm- 10 mangoes

total – 3100 cals

Recovery Day

Went for a 20min jog this morning followed by 15mins of yoga.
My aim is 30mins and I will get there.

Jumped on the bike and rode 20kms to the local town and back.
Food:
10am1/2 melon

1pm: 9banana smoothie with celery, rocket and baby spinach

4pm:5 sapodillas

6pm:9 mango, celery, rocket soup

Really enjoying only eating when the sun is up, my digestion is fantastic, my energy first thing in the morning is great I jump out of bed! I really feel it is ideal for us not to eat at night so I will continue this indefinitely.
Tomorrow is another running race already! This time it is on the flat so I will be interested to see what time I get, going to get out of my comfort zone as much as possible tomorrow and push it .

Whoops missed a day!

Yesterday had a great active morning…

* 6.3km jog, felt strong and was able to maintain a consistent pace the whole way, really need to push it a little more to take my speed to the next level.

* 45mins of weight-training, pretty intense session today, had a 1/2 melon straight after my run and rested for an hour then went straight to the weights.

Lots of cartwheels, dips, pushups, benchpress, d’bell rows, d’bell shoulder presses, bicep curls, 1-legged deadlifts, squat jumps, seated cable row

I really love building muscle, its so empowering :-)

Market Day + some insights into my past…

Busy day today…

Found a Durian Tree in an Orchard that may be fruiting very very soon, so excited about that one!
Exercise :
Bike 65kms – to the markets and back

Food: All separate meals

-1/2 8kg melon

-meal of sappodillas

-5mangoes

-10 mangoes blended with celery and rocket (oh yeah got some greens!!)

Abs are really sore today from lots of crunch variations. Starting to see my ‘V’ developing on my lower belly which is rewarding. I was thinking about it today, I have actually lost upwards of 8kg since about Feb this year when I tipped the scales at 67kg!

My weight crept up so much due to my flirtation with cooked food for a month last year in September, I broke the cooked food cycle by doing a waterfast for about 8days, 2 days melon inbetween then just melon and mango for 3weeks after that.

I lost about 5kg from my cooked food weight and felt amazing! I was then restricting my fruit too much in a bid to lose more weight (although i knew better) and suprise suprise a carb-depleted Freelea ended up bingeing out on gourmet rawfood at Byron Bay markets during Dr Doug Grahams visit, the food contained cocao, salt and other nasties and my body threw a tantrum as now it was super clean after the fasting and was sending me very clear messages about what foods worked and what didn’t. – (this was not the first time I fasted, in the space of 1year I fasted on water alone for 32days).

To add to my weight gain I left my job and became less active….the kgs kept creeping up from 57kg to 67kg over the course of 3months or so, I was shocked as I had been eating fruit, greeens and some nuts and avos for months since my gourmet spurlge…but it kept coming (I thought this way all i had to do).

realise now i wasn’t combining my fruit properly and eating late at night, having too many nuts & avo too. My activity level had definitely dropped aswell from working in the gym for 5years and the biggest of all I had fasted with weightloss as my primary motivator…big mistake!! It teaches your body to be really efficient at storing fat….funny I manifested the opposite results to what I wanted because I focused on what I didn’t want…and that was to put on weight.

I am thankful today that my body did speak to me so clearly and that I went through this pain because now I have refined my diet to 955 and as a consequence I enjoy the most vibrant health ever, I am very happy with my appearance and excited about how fast my fitness is improving and I can also help others and come from a place of experience.Well that turned into a novel!

Freelea Yogini ….well almost.

Up nice and early this morning for a 6.3km jog, much much better than 9am as the heat is quite intense.
Felt fairly strong the whole way but my false self was whingeing and telling me to stop, i replaced this voice with a mantra I have used for years..”I love this run with all my heart” and soldiered on and celebrated at the end! Literally with 10kgs of melon.

Jumped the fence next door and grabbed a ripe jackfruit, its massive! That will be dinner in a few days.

Today I have had:

*10kgs+ of watermelon, edible portion a lot less

*2 mangoes

*3banana & water smoothie.

*Now eyeing off the rest of my mangoes..

I was scheduled to do yoga today and I really feel like my body needed it but I went for a 15km bike ride instead, must be more serious about doing yoga….maybe I will attach pleasure…

Yoga benefits…
-increased flexibility
-a feeling of oneness between body and mind and my surroundings
-strength building, a great workoout!
-I want to build more muscle & I have proven in the past that yoga is very good for this.
-Great way to bring me to the present moment
-Fantastic lymph pump because of the deep diaphramic breathing
-I love yoga-devotees bodies & how my body looks when I pratice regular yoga
-It helps me become a more peaceful present person
-It is essential to lengthen the muscles if Im going to do exercises like weights that shorten the muscle.

Lowfat Glow!

We’re off to a 5km road race soon, should be fun!

This morning did my usual 3.5km jog/run and then followed it with a fantastic yoga session, I felt so at peace and connected with my surroundings. The joy of being alive was just so strong within me. I am aiming to increase my yoga to about 4times a week about 30mins in duration. I just love the union of the bodymind during practise, just a beautiful feeling.

Basically living off mangoes and melon at the moment. Jackfruit is beautiful but I have been having some a bit underripe and my digestion had been compromised as a result. My digestion is absolutely perfect right now on just mangoes and melons…no cravings, no gas, no bloating! How good is low fat raw?!? .Have had about 3litres of water today as a safeguard against dehydration after the race…

My skin is really glowing too with the sun and sweating up here…whoops a bit of weed is growing under my arms!

Some interim training shots….very happy with my progress ….probably could’ve smiled though!

Societies problems or …the machine within?….

Whats everyone’s take on Society and how it works??…or doesn’t work…

I just got to thinking & had a bit of a daydream…

I see our society today largely as a community of people born with confident, peaceful, loving, souls with unlimited untapped power within, struggling… trying there hardest to think, feel &live their truth whilst unknowingly up against a super effecient machine/alien/? (i will call it a machine) that never sleeps hellbent on keeping the truth from us at ANY cost, pitting us against eachother in war & conflict, constantly throwing distractions our way to numb and confuse…dangling a poisonous apple infront, tempting us – one bite will bring you happiness we promise…only to leave us empty & emotionally paralysed…why?

…because this machine is fearful of us discovering & developing our true powers because if we did realise our unlimited power within what would that mean?…it would mean the end of the machines fear-fueled reign and hello to a world free of ownership, hate, destruction, dependancy & fear full of infinite wonderful possibilities….but we could have that now couldn’t we? I believe we could if we all united our powers of giving, peace & love & truly believed in ourselves…

But the rampage continues unchallenged by most in the form of damn obvious straight out commands & constant programming (starting at birth) via repitition of subliminal messages throughout the day via different mediams like tv, radio, billboards, ipods, internet, cooked food behaviour modification etc….phew well I’m exhausted lets just conform…its easier, its safe…but can we be truly happy living a lie? Where will this ultimately take us in life? I see lots of people sleep walking down the streets of life…like zombies, in a daze…giving in and drastically falling short of their true potential. It is a choice to become an empowered, peaceful,self-love-filled population….just a choice.

Maybe the machine is our friend and actually here to help us to become powerful by providing us with challenges rather than an an easy ride so we appreciate & earn our powers with integrity?? Those who earn their powers will then be rewarded with acceptance to a world/universe so amazing & beautiful that it is beyond words & our logical minds comprehension….is this world/universe awaiting within you now??…I know this post could sound a little negative to some but it truly comes from a place of love & peace, I am filled with a drive to help others feel their best in every moment, to assist them in discovering their own power within & ultimately affect the global consciousness.

in love & consciousness..
