Always loved black russians….
Had a great day, woke up with sore nipples (oops am i allowed to say that?)….too late..:-P Im guessing its period time. When i was cooked I never experienced sore nipples so its rather exciting now that I am as its obviously a good thing because i am much healthier …anyways enough about me nipples!
Have decided if im going to eat peas like I did last night that they have to be fresh that day and preferably picked by me as some were starchy and slowed my digestion noticably. Although i felt great today, i have standards of feeling amazing everyday and that’s what i aim for, these small improvements help me refine a little more.
Just finished a black russian tom (always had a thing for them), org mandies and baby spinach salad with a sauce of celery, tom and celery….oh my god!! It tasted AMAZING!! i had a taste of the sauce and it was sooo salty that i had to get mum to taste it to confirm the saltiness but she said it wasn’t. At that moment I realised that my tastebuds must be so clean from eating such simple foods & combo’s that the celery was bordering on too salty but oh so lush! The salad was an absolute pleasure that i didn’t want to end, some photos….

Beautiful lil toms.

Mum and I got some awesome mineral rich soil today from Lismore with worm castings in it for her new vegie garden, its coming along splendidly. Although mum did crash the trailer into the car reversing it! All good though, she was tired, poor mumsy.

Hi Freelea,That salad looks delish! I like reading you blog,- I’m trying to be 100% raw, but I’ve been going through some emotionally challenging times. Congrats on your all personal health achievements and changing your life around !You may or not know that I’ve been banned from GI2MR, so I couldn’t reply to your post.I just wanted to clarify that we all have completely different water requirements. Its so obvious that an endurance athlete would need a lot more water than a sedantry , stay at home mum! I have read that excess water can flush out minerals and salts from the body though and I will try and find the article and there have been a few cases of people and athletes dying of drinking too much water recently.I do drink water but not as much when I was cooked/ and having a lot of salt in my diet. I prefer juices and when my daughter was born I would be drinking about 1 pint of juice a day. also lots of juicy fruits and salads so I was well hydrated. But I found when I used to drink so much water I would pee so much and my raw food friend explained that water just goes right through you and it was unecessary.well ,there are lots of different opinions and schools of thought.:)Where-abouts in Aus are you based, I think I have some relatives in Brisbane?best raw wishes :0 ) Amber
I’ve never tasted a black russian. Diggers seeds have them and lots of other heritage tomatoes I’d like to try. I have been to Russia though, love the accent.
Hey Amber,Thanks for letting me know! Had did you get banned??I don't have to try anymore to be raw because I have found the secret….eating more fruit, getting enough carbs/fuel into my system even if that means eating 12bananas in one meal. It is such a pleasure to be able to eat so much fruit too, highly recommend it.I have tried all the other raw approaches and this is the winner. Yes we do have different water requirements but at the same time the average sedentary person is highly dehydrated and even if we no longer live the 'average' life we still have years of hydrating to catch up on and especially as we detoxify old stuff.i would be very interested to read the article about athletes dying from too much water as I am confident there will be other factors involved.About the water going right through you?? That's not physiologically possible for the water to come out unchanged & not to adversly affect the body at the same time…but interesting theory
I'm currently on the Gold Coast in AuzThanks for saying hi!LovefreexoHey thevan,Yeah my old gymnastics coach was russian, I loved his accent!
