4 Days of Intense Healing…

Im all better now but from Sat last week till Tues/Wed I was literally floored!

Not exactly sure what shot me down but I suspect it was an impacted wisdom tooth maybe trying to come through couple with a combination of dehydration & sunburn helping weaken my immune system…. I experienced symptoms of intense brain pain in the right front side, a fever alternating with goosebumps which lasted for an entire 2.5days, nausea and the most suprising of all being the left side of my face swelling to triple the size! It was scary to say the least but I believe strongly in the bodies ability to heal itself if given the chance….the choice to fast was an easy one because I had no hunger anyway, I only started to become interested in food on the 3rd day.

So Im all good today and picked watermelons in the sun yesterday at a friends place and they sure tasted amazing!

Just on the internet at a cafe as it isn’t working at the place im at :-( (

Wednesday, 17th September, my bday..

Have been absent for very good reason lately which I will elaborate on in my following posts but in this one i will just share my birthday day with u.

Ended up being a very physical day and it averaged about 37deg. We cycled up and down and round and round checking out parts of Darwin and eating tropical fruits the whole time. We had decided to do a 5km running race at 6pm (yes in this heat) so we had a little time to kill. 50kms on the bike later and I was facing this running race which I suprisingly felt quite ready for despite the complaints of my semi-tired legs.

Everyone was warming up jogging around, I did a short jog to the bush to pee and felt that warmup was sufficient. There was about 70 or so people on this balmy Darwinite evening, so good to see so many active people!
Once the race started I was cruising along quite well with another guy and we jogging together so long that we exchanged some small talk and then he took off, he looked very fit and I was quite happy that I could keep up with him at all!

I started really feeling it about 3kms in, a big factor being that I desperately needed to do a BM (so the race took on a whole new challenge!) and a few people passed me (which is great for the ego), it gave me an extra bit of motivation and I ‘sprinted’ home to the finish line passing an ‘older’ couple (probably in their 70′s!), very impressive.

I ended up with a time of 25mins flat for 5kms and Im pretty happy with that! The only thing I wasn’t happy about was having to watch people destroy all their good work with fatty bbq sausages and low carb beer! I searched for any sign of fruit…calling for it…..sending out the vibes….finally sniffed out a tiny plate of watermelon slithers and quickly grabbed a couple although I didn’t need to rush. Downed about 600mls of water and felt quite good, not enough water though which probably didn’t help with my suffering over this past 5days.

We cycled home adding another 30kms to our legs (sort of ended up being like a Duathlon-ride-run-ride) and passed by Coles and halved a lovely melon, great ending to a great birthday!

Darwinian adventure…

Arrived in Darwin last night and met Harls at the Airport, was so great to see him again! Our baggage was delayed by 2.5hrs, there was a lot of unhappy campers but ofcourse we stayed cool, what use is it experiencing all those draining impatient negative emotions for no reason ?

Eventually we got our stuff and went and camped in the bush near the Airport, had about 2hrs sleep in total i think so today although i feel great just a little on the tired side so early to bed tonight. I have seen quite a few unfamiliar birds flying around and had a ‘bush’ bird nesting right near us, a couple actually who were keeping a very keen eye on us.

Had 1.5 whole melons today, lots of good hydration after the dehydrating plane trip. I really don’t enjoy being up there, more of an earth baby here :-)

Have already partially converted the local organic shop attendant to go raw vegan! Not pressuring at all but she was asking why I was getting so much fruit so we explained and then the questions just flowed…..so great to contribute to others in such a positive way….who else these days is going to help them with their health?? Gps? i would rather not give my health responsibility over to them thankyou very much!

The standards i aim for in life….

I really feel its important to get clear about the direction & results we want in life -spiritually & physically and I believe once we get clear we start to manifest & project our desired reality so with this is mind I Did a bit of writing this morning about the standards I am busily setting about achieveing in my life & the levels I am rising to….

Organs- That function at their absolute best, providing me with endless vitality!

A Brain- that is constantly hydrated, clear thinking, sharp, always searching for new truths to absorb, a beautiful mind.

A Heart- that is open, accepting, full to overflowing with love & ready to serve and guide others.

A Stomach- that is happy, satisfied & loves to receive and process good rawfood!

Intestines- that are healthy & pink inside and that happily – super effeciently processing rawfood everytime and releases waste completely & regularly.

Lungs- that expand consistently to their full potential and expel love, contentment, confidence and passion!

Eyes- that see the best in myself & others, the beauty in everything, eyes that see a world filled with love, harmony, sharing and caring.

A mouth- that speaks the truth form a heart thats open, that speaks only when necessary and quality rather than quantity. A mouth that only speaks about others lovingly & positively unconditionally & finds any excuse to smile and laugh!

Ears- that only hears the truth in this world. That hear praise, compliments, encouragement and support from others. Ears that listen genuinely and intently whenever anybody speaks.

Arms – that embrace life & accept & welcome uncertainty. That hug others warmly from a place of love

A back – that is flexible and not resistant to change, one which is willing to backbend whenever i ask A chest & shoulders that stand tall, confident with integrity and strength.

Hands- are passionate & expressive, that tell a story on their own, captivate others, support me tirelessly when I walk on them (handstands) & enable me to transfer my love to others when i touch them.

Thighs & legs- that carry me courageously through my workouts everyday, that are strong, athletic, shapely and lean…they are always fresh & ready to perform & support me throughout life.

A bum- that patiently supports me always & is smooth, sexy with lots of muscle!

Feet- that will take me anywhere I ask in life, adventurous & brave, willing to go where no one else has & walk that extra mile….

Always loved black russians….

Had a great day, woke up with sore nipples (oops am i allowed to say that?)….too late..:-P Im guessing its period time. When i was cooked I never experienced sore nipples so its rather exciting now that I am as its obviously a good thing because i am much healthier …anyways enough about me nipples!

Have decided if im going to eat peas like I did last night that they have to be fresh that day and preferably picked by me as some were starchy and slowed my digestion noticably. Although i felt great today, i have standards of feeling amazing everyday and that’s what i aim for, these small improvements help me refine a little more.

Just finished a black russian tom (always had a thing for them), org mandies and baby spinach salad with a sauce of celery,tom and celery….oh my god!! It tasted AMAZING!! i had a taste of the sauce and it was sooo salty that i had to get mum to taste it to confirm the saltiness but she said it wasn’t. At that moment I realised that my tastebuds must be so clean from eating such simple foods & combo’s that the celery was bordering on too salty but oh so lush! The salad was an absolute pleasure that i didn’t want to end, some photos….

Blissed out is how I feel!….

Tried to attach the vids to my video bar, not sure how to do it from photobucket…
I am feeling so blissed out today, just brilliant! The sort of happiness that makes me want to cry….and well I did just before! I heard the John Lennon song ‘Imagine all the people..’ I thought about his life and how he just wanted peace for all & then how he was killed so tragically,I wouldn’t be suprised if the American Gov was behind that…..anyways I also felt the sincerity and passion through his words and started to imagine what the world would be like if there was only love for eachother, the planet and the animals…what a world it would be…I got this overwelming rush of blissful emotions at the thought and tingles throughout my whole body, was quite surreal, it was like a moment of absolute blissful awareness then I cried….not tears of sadness but bliss. It makes me think …is this the feeling we are ment to be experiencing in every moment?… but we are just numbed to it via so many external influences? If so i’ll take seconds please!!

In other news….
Grabbed about 25kgs of narna’s today, im going to keep going on mainly smoothiesWasn’t entirely on smoothies today. I figured that I don’t get cane juice opportunities very often so Im going to grab when I can. Also got some nice organic sweet peas and black russians which Ill eat mono tomorrow night.

Hills of pleasure….

Went for a hill ride at 8am this morning, struggled a little because my quads were still sore from the couple of sprints I did the day before. Felt so amazing after my hill effort today, was very proud. Generally my recovery has been awesome, especially since this banana and greens week.

I actually cheated a little today when I was out with mum. We visited an organic shop and I grabbed the last 1/2kg of mandies, they were lovely. This plus the cane juice on Thursday is my only slip up. Feel fantastic for most of the day, mum said Im really glowing at the moment which was nice.

There are just so many pay-offs for eating a low fat raw vegan diet-
* Skin is now even toned, dewy, soft and clear where as I once had acne
* Eyes are sparkly and clear
* I look for an excuse to exercise, in the past i have always pushed myself into action
* My digestion is just perfect as long as i eat mono meals or max 3 ingredients combined properly
* I used to have stains on my teeth they are now all gone, must be the acid in the fruits cleaning them
* Even blood sugar, no more depressive thoughts

& theres plenty more..

Had a great nude sunbake today, the sun is just so vital, I feel my body detoxing as I lay there and releasing negative energy.

Woke up had my 1.5litres of water, have to drink more throughout the day, will aim for 3litres.

Have had 33bananas for today, it is so important to get enough carbs in to succeed on a raw diet or else cooked food/raw gourmet food will be tempting. Our body and brain runs on glucose so it would make sense to give it the easiest converted source – fructose.

This society is so caught up in restricting calories and no wonder with the dehydrated nutrient-starved food the mainstream eats, its not about the calories its about the quality of food (raw,whole,ripe,organic,fresh) & the combinations in which its eaten….
Where’s the water/life force in cooked food?? Put a peice of bread through a juicer and you’ll find out.
How many people eat their meat raw like true meat-eating carnivores do? A true meat eater should kill their prey and eat the blood,bones,intestines and meat….could you do that?
Rarely do people eat meat or any cooked food without some sort of condiment like…tomato sauce,gravy,sweet chilli,salt,soy sauce all of which confuse and deaden the tastebuds leading to further addictive behaviour and cravings.
